You will have the opportunity to work directly with Redstone and our custom plan designers. We can also sit down and review your own plans you have had done.
You will also get the opportunity to work directly with our licensed interior designer through meetings for all selections in the home.
Building on your lot entails many aspects of a custom project that need to be carefully evaluated to ensure not just correct home placement on the land, but also where cost savings can be achieved on items such as dirt work, getting power to the site, water wells, septic systems, roads, ponds, and much more.
We will look at the home plans of course, but on rural properties there are several other things to consider in the design phase such as views, breezes, outdoor living and future barn or guest quarters
At Redstone, one of our first meetings with you will be at the property. We want to see your vision for it and also offer consulting on the land prep and infrastructure so that we remain on track with the overall budget.
When it comes to budget, we make sure to revolve every decision to be made with us around what you want the project to cost. There will be prioritizing and compromising along the way and we will walk beside you to ensure your expectations and values are being met. We will not start construction, or close on your construction loan, until everything is picked and priced so that you the customer can sit back and enjoy building without making it up as you go. As a fixed price builder, we don't like surprises anymore than our customers do, so we will always be in communication on costs no matter the amount during the on-boarding stage of the process.
Let's go!! Our typical build times are 8-9 months from the foundation being completed. Several things can come up during construction that can effect this, but with our process of designing and pricing in the beginning and building during the build phase, customers can expect to be in their new dream home within a year of starting with Redstone. Our relationships and partnerships with local trades and vendors ensure material availability and timely completion at each stage of construction. There will be weekly updates and milestone on-site meetings throughout the build in order to keep everyone involved on the same page.
